AMS Receives Grant For Outreach Program
Asheville Music School is honored to be the recipient of grant funding from the NC Arts Council’s GRASSROOTS ARTS PROGRAM through the Asheville Area Arts Council to support the AMS Outreach Program, providing free performances to youth, senior, and people living with disabilities at sites throughout the community.

AMS Rock Band at ABCCM Veteran’s Restoration Center
Thanks to Outreach Director Lloyd Weinberg, the AMS Rock Band, and instructor Alec Fehl for Saturday night’s high-energy outreach performance at the ABCCM Veteran’s Restoration Center. Veterans broke into spontaneous dance, gave the band a standing ovation, and shared the performance over social media. Great work everyone!
ASO Season Finale May 9
Our good friends at Asheville Symphony Orchestra have a FANTASTIC season finale on May 9th- Ravel And The Duke, with saxophonist Joe Lulloff. They are performing Duke Ellington’s “Black, Brown, and Beige,” Ravel’s Daphnis et Chloé Suites 1 and 2, as well as works by Debussy and Milhaud. 8:00pm. See you there!
