Electric Bass Guitar

Electric Bass

A relatively new instrument, the electric bass was developed in the 1930s as a more easily transportable substitute for the double bass, and eventually became widely used in the 1950s with Leo Fender producing his Precision Bass (which is still widely used today!)

Our teachers at Asheville Music School teach all ages and skill levels as well as any musical genre your heart desires. The electric bass can be played with the fingers, with a pick, or slapped and popped, and our teachers are well adept at teaching all 3 playing styles.
