AMS Sound Education Outreach Program
Bands & Ensembles
Bringing music students together to connect with peers, with professional artists, and with the community as a whole.
Inquire HERE about joining a band
We have several bands and ensembles at Asheville Music School, playing Rock, Pop, Blues, Country, Ukulele, Jazz and Classical music. Each year, existing ensembles have openings that need to be filled and new ensembles are created based on students’ interests.
We are here to serve your musical needs
Looking for a specific genre?
Have a band that would benefit from guidance and instruction?
Looking to play with and are open to playing anything?
Let us know and we will do everything we can to accommodate your request.
Do you want to join one of our bands?
Tell us about yourself by clicking the Inquire HERE button above. Once you do so, your information will be reviewed and you will be contacted to find the best fit for you. This may be an existing ensemble or the creation of a new one.
Have a band or friends you want to start a band with?
You can enroll as a group and you will be paired with an instructor who will guide you and your bandmates through the learning process of what it means to be in a band. As your band progresses, you will be provided with performance opportunities at real venues in the community.
