The lyrics of many tunes in the American Songbook reference love and/or springtime-or at least evoke the mood of such things. The program’s songs have been selected to celebrate a favorite season. Many were written by favorite composers like Cole Porter, Richard Rodgers, Oscar Hammerstein, Johnny Mercer, Jerome Kern; all will sound totally original as interpreted by our three exciting jazz musicians.
PLUS, Asheville Music School students Karis Kerr and Eva Peterson will perform during intermission!
