Calling all singers!
Learn how to use your voice in a fun and supportive setting while singing custom arrangements of your favorite songs.
A Capella Club is back, with placement auditions Tuesday February 6, 2018. Singers should prepare an a capella verse and chorus of any song. You will be asked to vocalize and sing patterns, but you will not be required to read music.
Directed by Whitney Moore, A Capella Club performs a wide range of contemporary music, adapted for a small vocal ensemble. Your voice is your instrument, and your will sing everything from lyrics to guitar lines to vocal drumming and percussion. Basic knowledge of theory and harmony a plus. There will be at least one public performance per semester.
The club will rehearse on Tuesdays from 6:30-8:00pm. We’re looking for all voice types, male and female, ages 13-18.
