Piano for Fun and Relaxation

June 14, 2010 by bm-admin

We’re excited to announce a new class starting very soon (July 13th) at the Asheville Music School West.  It’s called Piano for Fun and Relaxation.  This is a nationally known course and will be the first offering of it in the Asheville area.  I have heard many good things about this course and we are pleased to have Deborah Belcher working with us to bring this class to town!  Some details on the class:

Its designed for folks who want to play or resume playing the piano in a relaxed way that puts music-making first, & is not so concerned with technic, achievement, detail, or those things that may not be so much fun.  Each student determines their level of investment, benefits from peer support, & as the class progresses, students collectively choose the music they’ll learn.

There is a limit of 6 people per class.  The first class will be scheduled for July 13th at 10AM.  Classes are 50 minutes long and it will be an eight week session.  (This class is geared for adults – no experience necessary.)
