Last year a coalition of arts organizations was formed with the focus to educate, inform, and inspire public action supporting the fiscal vitality, stewardship, and growth of Asheville’s and Buncombe County’s creative sector. On February 6th we would like to invite you to the Arts Awareness Social to get to know the organizations behind the coalition and learn what they are doing to share the way the arts are positively impacting our community. Special presentations by BMCM+AC, Word on the Street, and Asheville Music School. This event is free and open to the public.
Arts Awareness members include, but is not limited to: Asheville Area Arts Council, Asheville Art Museum, Asheville Choral Society, Asheville Community Theatre, Asheville Fringe Arts Festival, Asheville Music School, Asheville Rhythm, Asheville Symphony, Black Mountain College Museum + Arts Center, Center for Craft, Diana Wortham Theatre, Different Strokes! Performing Arts Collective, Hola Community Arts, LEAF Community Arts, North Carolina Stage Company, and Word on the Street.
