March madness has a special meaning at AMS — it’s Practice-a-Thon month! Based on the popular walk-a-thon model, Practice-a-Thon participants sign up sponsors to pledge donations based on the number of days they practice their instrument.
The Grand Prize of an iPad Mini will go to the student with the most practice hours for the month of March. Cash prizes will be awarded to students with the most sponsors and the most total donations collected. All donations support the AMS mission and winners will be announced at the Sound Effects concert on April 9.
