Open Ensemble- Exploring Music Improvisation
Musical Self-expression through Improvisation 5 Week Course: Thursdays 6:00pm – 7:30pm February 25, 2016 – March 24, 2016
Open Ensemble is an experience in music improvisation that goes beyond stylistic boundaries. Participants will develop skills in free and structured improvisation using a variety of styles. We will explore playing individually, in small ensembles, and as a group.
Our facilitators, Kiah Abendroth & Christy Clavio, create a supportive and fun environment. We welcome all instruments, ages, and levels of experience, from beginning to advanced players.
