She specializes in Voice, Piano, Guitar, Songwriting/Performance, Digital Recording, and Producing.
As a performing artist, she writes published songs, which you can find amongst all streaming platforms. Ambria realizes the attribute of being unique, and advocates for her students to discover their own styles and traditions. She blends influences from folk, indie, Americana, and contemporary singer-songwriter music. As an independently published singer/songwriter, she continues to record original music and perform throughout the region.
Whether working with complete beginners or developing musicians, Ambria believes music should be what you find to be both challenging and joyful. Her goal is to help students build confidence, develop strong musical foundations, and create a lifelong connection to music- all while having fun.
Lessons with Ambria
Music lessons should feel inspiring, encouraging, and personalized. Every student learns differently, so lessons are tailored to individual goals, interests, and learning styles.
Students can expect to develop technical skills while exploring the music they love. Areas of study may include:
- Voice and vocal technique
- Songwriting and creative expression
- Beginner guitar and ukulele
- Music theory fundamentals
- Performance skills and stage confidence
- Recording and music technology basics
For younger students, lessons emphasize creativity, curiosity, and confidence-building through engaging activities and age-appropriate repertoire. For teens and adults, lessons can focus on songwriting, performance preparation, technique development, or exploring a personal artistic style.
Above all, Ambria strives to create a warm, welcoming environment where students feel comfortable to take risks, express themselves, and grow as musicians.
“Thank you for reading! Looking forward to enjoying music with you!” – Ambria
