Summer Camps Announced!

Summer music camps at Asheville Music School are a great way to begin your musical journey, enhance your skills, or even try a new instrument. Students will learn music in a fun, supportive, team-oriented environment in small or large groups. All camps include time outdoors, weather permitting. Camps run Mon-Fri, half day (9am-12pm or 1pm-4pm) or full day (9am-4pm). Financial need-based scholarships are available. Cost: $210-$385. Email info@ashevillemusicschool.org for more info.

We have camps for ages 4-18, all instruments and skill levels.

2026 Camp Offerings

June 22-26: Ukulele Camp, 9am-12pm, ages 7-10, instrument required. Held at Trinity United in West Asheville.
Led by Andy John & Melanie Ida Chopko

June 22-26: Pre-Teen Pop Rock Camp, 9am-4pm, ages 9-13, some experience helpful but not mandatory.
Led by Mary Steinbrecher & Bryce Robertson

June 29-July 3: Rock Camp, 9am-4pm, ages 10-18, some experience helpful.
Led by Andy John & Ryan Kijanka

June 29-July 3: Music Explorations, 2 sessions; 9am-12pm, 1pm-4pm, ages 4-7 – held at Trinity United in West Asheville.

July 6-10: Video Game Music Camp, 9am-12pm, ages 8-14.
Led by Mary Steinbrecher

July 13-17: Song Circle Voice Camp, 9am-12pm, ages 8-11.
Led by Rachel Hansbury

July 13-17: Song Studio Voice Camp, 1pm-4pm, ages 12-14.
Led by Rachel Hansbury

July 20-24: Music Explorations, 9am-12pm, ages 4-6. Held at Trinity United in West Asheville.

July 20-24: Beginner Harry Potter-themed Suzuki Strings Camp, 9am-12pm, ages 4-8, instrument required.
Led by Paul Stroebel & Holley Ross

July 27-31: Harry Potter-themed Suzuki Strings Camp, 9am-4pm, ages 5-12, instrument required.

Aug 3-7: Jazz Camp, 9am-12pm, ages 13-18, instrument required.

Aug 3-7: Appalachian Music Camp, 1pm-4pm, ages 8-15, for acoustic string instruments.

Aug 10-14: Open Jam Camp, 9am-12pm, ages 9-16, instrument required.
